Jo Craddy

Jo Craddy (they/them) is a 23-year-old mezzo soprano who has been singing in choirs for as long as they can remember. Born and raised in Brisbane, they have been involved with Voices of Birralee since 2010, and Gondwana Choirs since 2017. They have also previously been a member of the QPAC Choir (2024), and the National Youth Choir of Australia (2026).

Highlights of Jo's choral career include representing Queensland and Australia on domestic and international tours, performing at the Sydney Opera House in Gondwana Choirs' Voices of Angels, with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra for Handel's Messiah (2022), and with the Queensland Pops Orchestra as a featured backing vocalist for their New Year's Eve performance (2022).

In August 2026, Jo will graduate from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Production, with hopes to moonlight as a stage manager when they aren't on stage themselves. In theatre, they have worked on La Boite Theatre's Antigone (2026), PIP Theatre's Charlotte's Web (2025), and QUT's When The Rain Stops Falling (2025).
