Sam Borgert

Sam Borgert is a 20 year old Tenor/Baritone, born and raised on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. He moved to Brisbane in 2024 to study Classical Voice at the Queensland Conservatory of Music at Griffith University, where he is now in his third year. Sam has been singing in choirs across the country for as long as he can remember, and has been a member of The Chronicle Singers since its foundation at the beginning of 2025. He’s travelled internationally singing with high profile choirs, and has performed in everything from Choral Festivals, to Operas, to Musicals, to Rock Shows, even landing a spot as a Backing Vocalist in the NSW Schools Spectacular when he was in year 12. He has a passion for Australian music, and powerful stories in all their shapes and forms, and outside of singing is also a multi-instrumentalist and composer, with a developing solo career as a singer/songwriter.
