The Chronicle Singers is a Brisbane-based collective of passionate vocalists and emerging artists, united by a simple yet powerful idea: that music is one of the most profound ways we tell stories — stories of hope, longing, faith, and the shared human journey.
Founded in 2025 by conductor and vocal coach Kevin Gomez, the ensemble brings together diverse voices to craft expressive, high-quality choral experiences. From sacred motets and opera choruses to folk songs and contemporary works, our programs journey across centuries — from the 15th century to today — guiding listeners through richly layered narratives of sound.
But we don’t just sing. We chronicle. Through semi-staged works, narrated solos, and thoughtfully curated ensemble pieces, our storytelling takes shape in multi-disciplinary performances that invite reflection, connection, and beauty. Our concerts are more than musical events; they’re immersive experiences designed to spark unity, equality, inclusivity, and love within the Brisbane community.
Every performance is a chance to listen deeply, feel freely, and travel through time — one song at a time.
Mission Statement
To provide a professional, collaborative artistic platform where (1) emerging artists can grow through high-level performance, (2) audiences can experience choral music across eras, cultures and styles, and (3) innovative storytelling can create an inclusive space to engage thoughtfully with the world.
“Singing, especially in the classical world, exists to give life to huge emotion.”
