Kevin Gomez
Artistic Director, Music Director
Kevin is a Brisbane-based conductor, tenor, and vocal specialist whose work spans choral performance, opera, and arts leadership. He trained in conducting at the University of the Philippines, performing regularly with leading ensembles including the Ateneo Chamber Singers, Aleron and the Villancico Vocal Ensemble, and serving as Music Director for the Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mt Carmel and the Ateneo Resident Students Association Chorale.
A studio scholar in the prestigious Arceo Voice Studio, Kevin completed a Master of Music Studies in Opera Performance at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (July 2024), studying with Dr Margaret Schindler. He is currently the Vocal Specialist of the Cathedral of St. Stephen, Brisbane and is the new Music Director of Multitude Community Choir.
As Artistic Director and Music Director of The Chronicle Singers, Kevin shapes the ensemble’s artistic vision—curating repertoire and themes, guiding the choir’s sound and style in rehearsal and performance, and leading the storytelling and communications that bring each project to life.

Maddie Stephens
Executive ProducerMadeleine (she/her) is a soprano, actor, and director with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from WAAPA and a postgraduate diploma in Educational Studies from QUT (2024). With experience across opera, theatre, and independent production —including award-winning work at Perth FRINGE WORLD — she brings both artistic and organisational mastery to the team. As Executive Producer for The Chronicle Singers, Maddie manages day to day operations and, and leads the producer team in delivering our projects smoothly and professionally.
Caitlin Monique
ProducerBorn and raised in Melbourne, Caitlin’s musical pathway was paved by supportive adults and heavy participation in her school and community music organisations. For 3 years Caitlin proved to be a dedicated member of VOYCE (Victorian Opera Youth Chorus Ensemble) and is an alumna of the Washington National Opera’s annual Opera institute. Caitlin is now a Bachelor of Music candidate at the Queensland Conservatorium under the guidance of Shelli Hulcombe.
When not on the stage or in the practice room, Caitlin can be found enthusiastically teaching singers young and old, helping them discover the beauty of music. She is also entering her 4th year as a member of St Stephen's Cathedral Choir and regularly leads a large congregation as the cantor.
Caitlin is excited to travel overseas in the coming years to complete postgraduate studies and looks forward to creating a program where educating young minds about the joys of opera and classical music is a priority.
Sam Borgert
Producer-in-trainingBorn and raised in a small town on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, Sam Borgert is a 19 year old tenor, currently studying a degree of Classical Voice at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. He grew up singing in choirs from age seven, and has nurtured a love of all things vocal music ever since. He’s been involved with countless choirs in the years since, and has toured internationally with choral ensembles to Europe, North America and New Zealand, and was also a Backing Vocalist in the NSW DoE Schools Spectacular. Outside of opera training and choral work, Sam is also a multi-instrumentalist and longtime singer/songwriter, and spends as much of his free time as he can writing and making music with his family.
